This might be the best day in the entire life of the Johanatics. Unexpectedly, Johan visited our thread in pinoyexchange. I was really tensed that time since I’m the only one lurking in our thread so I suddenly texted all the Johanatics to be online because Johan wants to have a webchat with us.

But why would he be using Johan’s uncle’s account if its really not Johan, ryt? When I messaged him on YM, he invited me to view his webcam and poof! It’s really JOHAN MORIELLE SANTOS.

Pondering on Something

Just recently, I’ve attended a very meaningful activity which is the IT Femme Core Retreat/Seminar. It took place at Laguna Hills, Calamba, Laguna. It’s not the usual kind of retreat (“silent” retreat). In this retreat/seminar, we can use our cellphones, laptops, guitar and everything we had brought. At first, I thought I would be bored thinking that I had to spend 3 days together with people who really serve God all through their lives. But I guess I was wrong.

I could proudly say that I’m fortunate to be one of the participants in this retreat because I felt like my sins were all taken away when I gone into confession. It took me really a hard time to confess since my last confession was when I was about to get the sacrament of confirmation. And ofcourse, I had too many sins that I was really ashamed to say. But then, I’ve realized “Why would I be ashamed to confess about those things when I wasn’t ashamed when I did it.”

This retreat/seminar was kind of like a stress-reliever, problem-eraser and sin-washer for me. Thank you to the organizers of this event for I was able to have a time with God, finally.

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up

I haven’t been addicted to a TV program for years now. I guess, my last addiction was “Jewel in the Palace” wherein the main character was Jang Geum and that was about 4 years ago. But Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Edition made me a TV addict once more to the point that I really watched one live eviction night and the Big Night.

Yes, you’ve read it right, I watched the Big Night! Ever wonder why I loved PBB Double UP? It’s because of my brother, really. I’ve found a housemate who resembles him so much! He is Johan Morielle Santos, a guy from Quezon City, studying Cruiseline Management at the Lycevm of the Philippines. I really see my brother in him in all angles of his face and posture. And because of him, I can see my brother eventhough he’s already not with us.

I supported him up all the way through text votes with the help of other Johanatics. And for me, the greatest battle that our group has had was when he was nominated with Sam Pinto. But we surpassed that because we really wanted Johan reach his dreams and his dreams for his family. Although there are many bashers, it did not become a hindrance for all of us to help Johan reach this far.

To top it all, he was declared as the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up 4th Big Placer, and we really rejoiced eventhough he’s not the declared Big Winner. For us, he’s a Big Winner as well because he had won the Xevera House and Lot from PBB in the white room challenge.
